Quick question

My house is still not totally in order. I'm trying to pace myself by working on it a little everyday. I do have  a quick question. "Do you have trouble keeping your cutting surface clear?" It could be just me but right now I see all kinds of  non-sewing related stuff on it. I'm going to tackle it right now!

  1. Mine gets a little cluttered when I am mid-project but I have to completely clear it before beginning any new projects.

  4. Absolutely! I swear little Elves come in when I'm out of the room and pull things out just to leave on the cutting surface! It's a catch all for EVERYTHING!

  5. My cutting table serves other purposes and must be cleared daily. Luckily, I have a crafting counter to place some of my clutter that I am not ready to put away.

  6. Mine is a clutter magnet! Magazines, mail, Kindle Fire, a towel - just to name a few out of place items that are on there at the moment.

  7. I sure do have trouble as I simply don't have enough working space. My cutting table is also my workspace and where all my scissors, rulers, marking pens and my bits and pieces go. I'd love to be able to put shelves in but being in a rental place we can't. I can't wait for the day we get to go back to our own home where I have a huge sewing room with lots of space and storage:)

  8. I can get my table uncluttered and before I know it....piles!!! And it is my stuff. I have a dedicated studio, away from the rest of my home, so it's just me. You are not alone!

  9. I am fortunate to have a dedicated cutting table. The only thing that's on it are materials for a current project.
