Monday Musings 8/1/2011

  • I spent the better part of today looking for my checkbook.
  • I still haven't found it!
  • I cleaned out every purse I own in my search.
  • Why is that we never take all the crap out of the previous purse we've used?
  • Who needs 10 pens in a purse?
  • I did find my MP3 player and Bose earbuds.Yippeee!
  • Also found a card I made for my husband for Father's Day 2010!
  • I've stashed my checkbook and extra checks somewhere because I can't find either.
  • If you like brownies don't be sucked in by the new FiberOne commercials...dry and crumbly is how I can best describe 'em.
  • Not sure what my next sewing project will be...I'm betting it'll be a dress.
  • I go to the Orthopedic surgeon tomorrow for a knee injection. Sure hope I get some relief.
  • The ants are finally gone. Yippeee!
  • The fruitflies have moved in. Bummer :-(
  • I haven't even put 100 miles on my new car yet.
  • Hoarders is absolutely digusting. I love it!

  1. Okay what's with both you and my Mama loving Hoarders so much?! I've watched an episode or two and can't do more than that...besides the fact that the show makes me want to get up and clean something - the other thing is that I feel so bad for those poor people because there is obviously something wrong with them.

  2. Knee injection...OUCH!! I pray you get some relief too, especially after having a needle in the knee!!!

P.S. That's the reason I don't change purses often...I'm always forgetting something I really need!!

  3. OH NO! One of my co-workers has been experiencing severe knee pain! He had to go and get fluid taken off of it and then a shot! He says it is much better now but it was so heart wrenching seeing him in pain! I have never seen hoarders but I have heard about it. I want to see it! Hope you find your checkbook and thank you for your sweet comment! Kiah

  4. You and I own the same purses, I laughed and laughed when I read this. And you are right about the ants moving out and the fruit flies moving in. Thank you so much for writing these musings, I look forward to reading them every week.

  5. Hope you get some relief from your knee soon. That injection sounds too painful. Oh, your purse sounds like mine.
