Crafting free-for-all
In my previous post I said I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. In my case it is caused by cysts that are on my thyroid which may have been caused by the radiation therapy that was used to combat my breast cancer. I just felt the need to clear that up. I managed to convince my husband that I didn't want to go away for the weekend so he is going without me. Yippeee! I'll miss him but I am going to have my very on crafting free-for-all. I'm going to sew, knit, and scrap for the entire weekend!

My dear friend, I am so sorry about the health issues that you are going through. You know that two of my friends and my sister who battled breast cancer, and won, have developed other problems because of the treatments they went through. I understand that you have to go through the treatments, but it sure would be nice if they could come up with cures that didn't cause other stuff.

Your scrapbooking is great. I need, need, need to get on the stick and scrapbook my youngest two grands' first years, now that one of them is nearly 3 and the other turned 2 last week. Also, with 2 more on the way, I'm going to be SO far behind that I'll never catch up!
I'm with you on those weekends alone. When I have to stay in town for work, my family usually comes back early because they think I'm lonely, but it actually cuts my sewing time short. Hope you're feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope this your hypothyroidism doesn't bother you too much this weekend and that you get lots of crafting done. I don't know if I mentioned it before but I did finally use my new clapper on the last jacket I made and I love it. Have a wonderful holiday!!
