Embracing my wrinkles

I got up bright and early this morning to get my latest pair of M5894 jeans out of the wash. I quickly hemmed and sewed buttonhole and button on them. This is my third pair and I like each pair better than the last. This is the back after moving the pant leg inward per my last post. I know the photo is overexposed but I did it to show the detail better. I love my wrinkles!

From the front

I'm going to take a break from jeans and work on a few dresses but believe me, I will be revisiting this pattern a few more times! Can you ever have enough jeans??

  2. You deserve those great looking jeans. You have worked on pants, and worked on pants to perfect the fit. Hats off to you! Where did you get the idea about moving the front leg forward?

  4. Terrific jeans! Next winter, you may like to try Velveteen jeans--they are wonderful. Maybe some colors? I love white jeans in summer. When you can sew em', you can have em'!

  9. Those look awesome on you!!! I only have two pair that I ever wear! I have others hanging in the closet, but I don't like how they fit. I guess I need to get onboard with making myself some.

  10. Those jeans look wonderful. I've tried jeans before but gave it up when they came out weird, though I really need to start again because I'm tall and hippy, so custom made would suit me fine. :)
