What better time to work on my bedroom decorating than now. After all, the temperature is 23 below zero with the windchill. For the last couple of days I've sewn the valances for the windows. I'm very happy with how they've turned out.
I had my heart set on the trim, but was hesitant because I didn't want my bedroom looking like the "Biggest Little Whorehouse in Texas!" I do like the trim and am glad I used it. I picked up the entire roll of Wright's trim (12 yds) for a mere $4 at a local dollar store. Couldn't be that price with a stick!
Now I'm working on the duvet cover. Stay tuned.

LOVE the fabric choice - I have that same fabric in my dining room. And the trim is perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove that trim!!
ReplyDeleteNice! Can't wait to see the duvet!
ReplyDeleteThat trim is great! Glad you went with it. The fabric is the perfect compliment to the wall color. I need to do some home sewing! Sew on!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeletePretty valance. I caught an awesome sale on trim at sav-a-thon a few weeks ago at $.19/yd... lost my mind.
