If you are squeamish at all, don't continue reading. This picture was taken earlier in the Fall.
- One week post-op!
- Knee, leg, thigh all hurts like hell.
- Maybe I didn't have replacement surgery after all.
- I think my leg got run over by a truck!
- I used to think I was Superwoman.
- I now know better.
- If my sewing machine wasn't in the shop and I wasn't on bloodthinners...I still wouldn't be sewing.
- Who wouldv'e thunk walking up or down 9 stairs would be such a chore?
- The only thing I really want to get out of bed for is physical therapy and bathroom activities.
- Sometimes you really do just need to do nothing.
- I'm rather enjoying it.
- I could enjoy it more without the pain!
When I broke my ankle it was HIDEOUS! This is going to heal up beautifully in no time. Of that I am sure.
ReplyDeleteOuch!! Hopefully, the pain-in-the-knee and pain-in-the-ass will be over soon and you can get on with your activities.
ReplyDeletePreaying for your swift recovery! My sister-in-law just had the same surgery Tuesday. I have antother friend who had the suregery just this summer and she is doing great. So, be encouraged. I'm sure you'll be dancing with bells on soon.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a quick recovery!

ReplyDeleteThat knee looks painful. Hopefully, the pain will end soon. Then, you can enjoy your time to do nothing before turning into Superwoman again!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are home and sending you a speedy recovery hug.
ReplyDeleteThis scar looks so familiar. Virginia had this surgery a few years ago. Those meds had her loopy for a minute. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Take care!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice clean incision - should heal well - once you get through the pain. Thanks for posting and keeping us up to date. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOuch! That looks so painful. Feel better.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a speedy recovery! Looking forward to your new creations.
ReplyDeleteDont worry, my mom had the same surgery and it took a month for the swelling and pain to subside to where she could get around like she wanted to. Dont tell your doc you're going up and down stairs. My mom would go up the stairs on her bum since her bedroom is on the second floor. Once you have your knee done one good thing is you cant scrub floors any more ;)
ReplyDeleteOh Lord! Bless you my dear. Continue to heal and feel better.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI sincerely hope your knee heals quickly and this pain will be but a distant memory. You are so right. Doing nothing can be very nice! Take care

ReplyDeletePraying for a total recovery QUICKLY!
