Halter dress -- Simplicity 2580

Just showing a few pictures of my 4th of July dress. I've taken the upper back apart more times than I care to share. My husband says it looks fine without a bra. Hmmmm...I'm not really comfortable with that! I'll do a full review in a couple of days.

  4. Very pretty dress! Pic up one of those convertible bras. I have one that I wear with that kind of neckline. The straps hook around the neck and the back is deep. This way you can feel comfortable in your gorgeous dress.

  7. Oh wow do you ever look good in that dress! You are really trimming down, aren't you? Smoking is right like Susan says.

  8. You look wonderful! I love the dress and dont blame you about the bra thing. Us bigger girls dont like them flopping around lol. The convertible bra is a good idea though. Will you be making another dress with this pattern?

  10. When I only saw a piece of the title and the picture I thought how pretty. Now after seeing the entire dress, I'm thinking how gorgeous...and finally thinking maybe we should trade something...one of mine for one of yours, huh! ;)

  13. What a great dress!! And you know, if you hadn't mentioned it, I don't think I would have noticed immediately that this is a "no bra" dress. It is really flattering. If it is more comfortable with more support, could you sew a bra into it?
