It seems forever since I posted last. First my computer was in the shop then my camera was on the fritz. Don't think I've been idle. I've sewn three pairs of jeans and a blouse. The Sandra Betzina blouse pattern has got to be one of my most favorite blouses ever. Here I am with the blouse, Vogue 1156, and a pair of jeans McCall's 5894.
I love making my own jeans. I doubt that I'll ever buy them again. Click on my PR widget to get the full review.
I'm loving those jeans and the blouse is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour jeans look great. I made one pair a while back and didn't care for them after a few wearings. I think I may try again.
ReplyDeleteYou go girl♥ These turned out great!
ReplyDeleteYou look so beautiful! Great fit on the jeans, and I love the elegance of that blouse... Great job!
ReplyDeleteWhen you set your mind to it - you get it done don't you. Your jeans look fab!
ReplyDeleteHm. Butterick patterns go on sale in a few weeks at Joanns and they have a jeans pattern... I may have to try it now. Should be an interesting experiment. I've made pants, but no jeans.... (Unfortunately, the jeans pattern you used doesn't come in my size...)
ReplyDeleteFantastic! The jeans look better on you than they do on the pattern models. Now all I have to do is get the shirt.
ReplyDeleteYour blouse is wonderful! The pattern envelope leaves a bit to be desired, but made up and worn by a real person, it looks so different. Very nice. And good job on those jeans.
ReplyDeleteYou should be a model for a pattern company. You look absolutely fantastic. I'm still praying for you. I have two friends who have just started a battle with cancer.
ReplyDeleteI love the way that your blouse and jeans turned out. I wasn't sold on the pattern until I saw your version. Now I'm going to buy the pattern the next time that it is on sale,
ReplyDeleteJeans and a white shirt is such a great, classic outfit and your version looks amazing! I love both the garments, they suit you beautifully.
ReplyDeleteYou look great. I need to add both patterns to my To Sew Que.
