What was I thinking?

Thursday night I planned what I was going to sew Friday morning. I planned on whipping up a twin-set made out of some Slinky I found at Walmart for only $2.44 a yard. I cut the pattern before going to bed. First thing this morning I was up and at the sewing machine. What in the hell was I thinking?

There is absolutely not way I can just "whip up" a garment out of fabric that has to be matched at the side seams, center back (which I omitted), front bands and armholes. It got on my nerves so badly I just had to put it down and walk away. As I refuse to have any UFO's around, I'll be back at it again tomorrow!

  1. Not only does it have to be matched but it's also slinky! I love the shades of green however. It will make a great twin set. How are you?

  2. We all experience such things. And, sometimes it is best to walk away for a while, and let the mind settle down. Hope you are feeling well.
