Anywhooo, Oil the screw and that will loosen them up a tad if they are tight. Use the smooth side of the top scissor as a guide for straight cutting and slow down if you are cutting fast. Sounds like the pair you have are dull. Reinvest in a new pair and get rid of the others (so you are not tempeted to give it one last try). Good Luck and I hope this helps!Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02595297306976390158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8469386917866922229.post-21076636130837839152013-09-05T11:58:31.731-04:002013-09-05T11:58:31.731-04:00me threeme threeBootzeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01664655090937726673noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8469386917866922229.post-59002607056867790642013-09-05T10:11:26.675-04:002013-09-05T10:11:26.675-04:00This is me, too. This is me, too.Kimberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11452366492486662984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8469386917866922229.post-85159699745539089142013-09-05T07:11:30.188-04:002013-09-05T07:11:30.188-04:00I too have a pair of Fiskar's that I have neve...I too have a pair of Fiskar's that I have never, knock on wood!!, had a problem with. I returned them to Hancock's where I purchased them, and the cashier opened another pair to make sure they worked - they work well. I've had a couple dud pairs over the years.
