I don't get burns but I do get pin pokes which leads to a bandage :(

I haven't watched, "Here comes Honey Boo Boo" but the review has me cracking up, ROFL. Shows are nothing like they use to be...now a days it's drama and more drama. Trust me, I've been married for 28 years now), all of your sewing, fantastic. The bumps are the bumps. They will go away. All of the important things are going great. For myself, I look closely at the pattern shapes on the index pages, note the page letter, color and individual patter piece numbers. - I get this far without a headache, you too? Next I take out only the sheet needed. I even cut them apart rather than having more lines ghosting from below. Along the long sides are numbers. These number correspond to the numbers of your individual pattern pieces but there is a catch. If the index pages wrote "blue" you need to look at blue numbers. I circle each of my numbers and then guide my hand directly across the sheet until I find the same number same color on the pattern sheet. (Still with me?) I use my finger to trace the outline. I've found that I can still get confused and trace wrong lines. That's why I need to memorize the shapes of the pieces at the beginning of this mess. A highlighter is a great idea, but I always think I may make something else from this issue and how will I know which highlighting goes to this project? Anyway, once I trace with my finger, I use Golden Threads Quilting Paper because it's the most transparent I've found. I tape it to my guide sheet (I use repositionable tape for easy removal). I tape because everything else I tried allows the tracing paper to shift while I'm tracing. Burda does an excellent job drafting but I can ruin it during my tracing. BTW, my process is easier to do than to describe. I'm sure you'll find something that works for you. Good luck!sdBevhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16631048121680395678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8469386917866922229.post-17872481785077992802012-08-24T01:57:25.977-04:002012-08-24T01:57:25.977-04:00My only tip for tracing the Burda pattern, is to g...My only tip for tracing the Burda pattern, is to go over the pattern lines first with a hi-lighter pen so they stand out from the other lines when you are tracing them.
Ouch - on the burn!Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01023115170916061414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8469386917866922229.post-72607656474618098312012-08-24T00:09:58.372-04:002012-08-24T00:09:58.372-04:00So sorry about your mishaps!, but boy have you bee...So sorry about your mishaps!, but boy have you been productive!
